KEMP LoadMaster firmware update released.
KEMP Technologies have released a new firmware version for their physical and virtual LoadMasters. The new firmware, version 7.2.42, brings new features and enhancements as well as security and bug fixes.
The main new features included in the firmware are:
- The Linux topcommand is available through Debug Optionsand in the API, this will allow system administrators to view the system resource usage of the underlying processes.
- LDAP endpoint users no longer require a local account to be created to assign permissions. The LoadMaster will query the LDAP endpoint and provided the user is a member of the correct group, the LoadMaster will assign the authenticated user the permissions of that group.
- LoadMaster instances are available to setup and configure in the CenturyLink Cloud environment.
- Azure Bring Your Own Licence (BYOL) now supports both online and offline licencing options.
If you are using the LTS version of the KEMP LoadMaster firmware a new release, version 126.96.36.199, has also been released to address a critical vulnerability.
