Microsoft – Script
You can acquire the Microsoft script from the following Link: SpeculationControl
To run script, please install the module and run Get-spectulationcontrolsettings:
1. Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned -Scope Currentuser 2. Import-Module .\SpeculationControl.psd1 3. Get-SpeculationControlSettings 4. Set-ExecutionPolicy $SaveExecutionPolicy -Scope Currentuser
Linux – Script
You can download the simple script from the following link: Linux Script
The script will tell if your Linux Installation is vulnerable against the 3 “Speculative execution” CVEs that were made public early 2018. The script can detect mitigations, including back ported non-vanilla patches regardless of the advertised kernel version number.
